Project information
This project is able to provide: operative delivery of medication and ammunition to hard-to-reach-at places, under the conditions of entrapment or combat without danger of life to the supplier; possible configurations for different tasks - surveillance and monitoring, transportation; small overall dimensions and low-observable characteristics of the system for air defence devices; reduction of operational expenses (flight route, taking off and landing are performed automatically).

Transport/multi-purpose unmanned aircraft systems are used for tasks both in peacetime and during local wars, armed conflicts, operative delivery of medication, radio stations, ammunition and other luggage.

The system is designed for using in military units of Armed Forces, subdivisions of Ministry of Emergency Situations.


Drone is able to fly to 1000 m high, remain in the air for 60 min. Payload weight is up to 15 kg, drone’s weight is up to 12 kg. Navigation system allows to define system coordinates within the accuracy to 20 m and control it at a distance of above 10 km.

Drone equipment:

  • Aircraft autopilot system
  • Satellite navigation system receiver
  • Telemetry subsystem for transmission of drone flight parameters to control unit
  • Interchangeable mission equipment (customer’s request option: TV camera, digital camera, IR band camera, jamming transmitter, radioactivity sensing device, chemical sensor and so on)
  • System control provides autonomous flight (according to program), manual control flight, flying back of the drone to the starting point in case of communication channels failure

UAS general characteristics:

  • The system usage is totally hidden (system protective wrapping of functional units, sound and light disguise etc.)
  • GPS, GLONASS and inertial systems
  • All means of optic-electronic monitoring have changeable focal length objectives with remote length control
  • Under conditions of unstable or lost communication with autopilot control station the drones are able to return to starting point or perform a programmed task
  • Drone equipment and communication lines are protected against jamming devices; drone operates under conditions of unstable or temporary lost communication with autopilot control station
  • Control unit is designed on the base of a tablet PC with shockproof and water-proof casing
  • Software works together with on-board navigation and control system of drone

What has been done

  1. Prototype model was produced
  2. Field test operations of system manoeuvring capability and cargo dropping facilities have been conducted
  3. Prototype model is claimed for primary administrative tests to be conducted by the Ministry of Defence
